Some people think sweaters are only for fall and winter. (Actually, I don’t know if that’s true, but it helps my story, so I’m going to assume those people exist.) I’m not one of those people. I bought this sweater in 4 colors last year because it’s the perfect lightweight cotton for warmer months, and it lets me feel like I’m wearing a t-shirt but look like a grownup who has her act together. A good knit will do that for you. And it just so happens this sweater is now available again, and there are four other colors I don’t have yet!

Speaking of things that make me look more impressive than I really am, how ’bout these jeans?! I fully appreciate that not all jeans are created equal, but it’s very rare that I see someone wearing jeans that make me do a double-take. As long as a pair of jeans is comfortable, doesn’t have any weird gaps, and costs less than $80 or so, they’re good enough for me. But when I wear these jeans, I sometimes catch myself checking out my own ass. Jeans that make you objectify yourself are worth the money. Just don’t let anyone else do it without your permission.

Macy’s Presents: Spring Into Fashion

This post is sponsored…thanks for supporting my shopping habit.

2015macysmodels

Remember this time last year when I hosted a fun little fashion show at Macy’s? Well, this year, I get to sit back, relax, and watch my fellow Indianapolis bloggers Jaime and Kacie do the dirty work! I’ve hung out with them several times, and granted, there was always booze involved, but I promise they’re fabulous. Join me in hanging with these lovely ladies (plus some really tall models strutting their stuff, Clinique reps giving mini-makeovers, and a DJ doing…whatever it is DJs do) next Saturday, April 30, at 2pm at Macy’s in Castleton Square Mall.

If you’re not lucky enough to live here in the Circle City, you can find out if there’s another Macy’s Spring Fashion event near you (click here).
