I’m pretty sure it’s a requirement for all style blogs to do a post called “Sweater Weather” sometime in early fall. So don’t call me cliche. I’m just fulfilling my duty. There’s a chill in the air, the leaves are changing, I’m drinking pumpkin spice lattes, and I’m cuddled up in a chunky knit sweater. OK fine, I’m a cliche. To really drive it home, I’ll give you a bunch of cute and cozy sweaters to shop below.

Happy Friday, friends! Have a good weekend.

I read a NY Times op ed the other day called “Brunch is for Jerks.” Well if brunch is wrong, I don’t want to be right. I think the point of the article was that the brunch “scene” in NYC is just a bunch of rich, white kids who get drunk on Saturday night, then clog up all the good restaurants for hours on Sunday. I think brunch is a little less jerky here in the Midwest. We just like to sleep in and then have someone make us eggs and a maybe a mimosa, please and thank you.

This past Sunday, I put in some effort to make my casual brunch outfit a little more presentable than the pajama-wearing crowd. (Again, I’m not a brunch jerk.) And I only spent 5 minutes Instagramming my food before I ate it. (I’m only human, OK?)
