Where are You Going in those Keds?

I read a lot of articles about blogging and how to be awesome at it and get a zillion followers. Over and over I read that you’re supposed to put searchable key words in your post titles, and to not use obscure puns. There’s just one problem: SEO (search engine optimization) is boring, and puns are not.

I’m sorry if you don’t watch HBO’s Girls and this title is lost on you, but if you’ve seen the first season, I hope it made you smile a little. And I hope you realize there is nothing else I could possibly title a post featuring Keds except “Where are you going in those Keds?” Such a beautiful ballad.

Moving on.

These Kate Spade Keds are pretty much the most exciting thing that’s ever happened to me. I mean I did get married one time, and I got into law school. BUT that’s nothing compared to the time I procrastinated on buying adorable limited edition Kate Spade Keds from the Keds website, then the shoes sold out, then the shoes reappeared on the Nordstrom website, AND THEN  I GOT THEM. Huzzah!

The bad news for the rest of you is that these particular shoes seem to have nearly sold out again. But because I don’t want to be a jerk for taunting you with something you can’t have, I did find:

  • A pink pointy toe version in a couple sizes here
  • A white and blue polka dot round toe version in lots of sizes here
  • A blue gingham round toe version in lots of sizes here
  • An orange chevron round toe version in lots of sizes here

Has anyone else scored a pair from the Keds for Kate Spade collection? I have a feeling you’ll be seeing a lot more of these babies.

Guess My Age

Sometimes when you’re shorter than 5’4″ and younger than 35, it’s easy to look like a small child if you wear things like, say, a flared skirt, tights, and pink shoes.

And sometimes you just don’t give a crap because you’re a grown up and you’ll be a lawyer soon. So there.
