As you all know, I’m a big fan of mixing colors and prints in unexpected ways. And then every once in a while, I make up for the edginess by matching ALL OF THE THINGS. I actually put on a pair of orange sandals with this outfit at first, but I had to draw the line. I already looked a little bit like I could blend in to the wallpaper of an outdated Florida home. But, you know, in a totally chic way, of course.

I swear I didn’t start out with a plan to look like January Jones in Mad Men. But it happened and I’m not mad (pun intended) about it. I knew I wanted to wear this dress on Saturday night, and it was rainy so I figured I might as well put my hair up. Once my hair was up, I realized I needed some earrings, and these pearls just happened to be sitting on my sink. That’s when I looked in the mirror and realized I had a former-Mrs-Draper thing going on, so I figured why not go full-on 60s with some gold flats and a straw clutch. So the question is: who wore it better?

(While we’re on the subject, do me a solid and don’t spoil the end of the series. I won’t see the last season and a half til it’s on Netflix!)
