I’m sure you’ll find this shocking – what with my butch physique and penchant for practical footwear – but I have never been the sporty type. The only way I get to wear a varsity jacket is by buying this one from Loft. I was always picked last for teams in gym class – not because people didn’t like me, or because I was fat and slow, but because I really was that terrible at every sport. It was 50% poor hand-eye coordination and 50% not giving a shit. Well, probably more like 70/30. I killed at the Presidential Fitness Test, though. And dodge ball. My main skills were being really strong and flexible and avoiding contact with balls. Not much has changed.

So anyway…cute jacket, right?

Is it OK to wear a t-shirt with a giant piece of tropical fruit on it to work? If it’s casual Friday and you add a blazer, I say why not. I’m calling it the “professional pineapple” look. I’m sure it’s going to catch on.

I also think gold flats should catch on. They make a great (read: comfortable) alternative those of you looking for bridal footwear this summer, and then – here’s the real kicker – you can wear them again with your favorite professional pineapple outfit. BECAUSE YOU WILL BE WEARING ONE.
