I have a little something extra in today’s outfit post – a perfume review! It’s awkward, right? It’s like, “Hey guys, look at how great I smell!” Why doesn’t the internet have a scratch ‘n’ sniff function yet? I mean, someone in China should have figured that out by now.

FrangranceNet provided me with 2 perfumes of my choosing to review, and I went with Versace Yellow Diamond and Bvlgari Omnia Coral. I thought about it, and I figure the best way to tell you about these lovely scents is to describe them in my totally unprofessional vernacular. If you want to hear about top notes and bottom notes and eighth notes and whatnot, you can find that in FragranceNet’s product descriptions!

Here’s what you need to know. What I look for in a perfume happens to be the same as what I look for in a white wine: fruity and floral, but light and not too sweet. Both of these scents totally fit the bill! They’re actually pretty similar. The Bvlgari one is a little lighter, so if you have a very sensitive nose and you’re looking for a nice summery scent, I recommend it!

Since FragranceNet was so cool to send me these sweet sprays, I should mention that their prices are well below retail if you feel like buying any new perfumes (hint, hint).

As for the outfit, this was what I wore on the 4th of July. I’m a terrible patriot – not only can I not be bothered to wear red, white, and blue, but I’m also wearing Italian perfume. Whoops.

  1. LOL! Your blog is my favorite read. Hands down. Style and humor. Some ladies have it all. 😉 I’m not much of a scent wearer, so thanks for your honesty on the lighter scent versus the stronger one. It’s hard for some to smell a difference.

  2. I’m terrible when it comes to perfume because they give me a headache so easily! I usually just pile up the scents of my soap and moisturizer but I’ll keep Bulgari’s perfume in mind next time. xx
