When: May 30 // Weather: 60ish // Real life: farmer’s market and Trader Joe’s run
It’s officially summer, it’s hot as the devil’s butt crack, so naturally I’m sharing this long-sleeve, long-pants, sweater look with you. I’m nothing if not timely and relevant.
This was a few weeks ago when we went to our local farmer’s market (where I wore a mask, not pictured) on a mild Saturday morning. Warm-weather sweaters are actually one of my favorite things about Indiana, compared to North Carolina where I grew up. I might not wear a lot of sweaters between May and August, but there are always a few occasions where a cold front comes through and I need something a little cozy in the morning or evening. And I love it. Bring on the cotton sweaters and cardigans. I will take a slight chill over a 95 degree heat index any day.
I’m assuming at least a few of you feel the same way, and maybe you live in somewhat moderate climates, so this post might actually be somewhat timely and relevant after all. Nailed it.
