“Look into pants” is what I mutter under my breath when I see a girl wearing leggings with a too-short top (sometimes it’s louder, depending on the severity of the situation). Today, though, it’s my advice to everyone for the next time you’re trying to figure out what to wear for a special occasion. Why do we think we have to wear a dress or skirt to look fancy? Fun fact: I wore pants and boots to my senior prom. I looked good, and all the other girls were jealous that I was so much more comfortable than they were.
This top is so damn pretty and feminine I figured I didn’t need anything else special to look appropriate for my friend’s wedding. So I thought to myself: “Hmm. I should look into pants. Just simple, slim cut, black pants.” And the rest is pantstory.
