I did a thing. I’ve been lusting after the Hermes Paris loafers for more than a year and I finally bought them. I tried to find a decent pair secondhand, but they’re hard to come by – because, I mean, who would want to let go of these beauties? There was another color I wanted originally but my size was sold out forever. Then this new color came out and I slept on it… and slept on it some more… and finally went for it. Honestly I wish I could be this thoughtful about all of my purchases. For example, I bought these jeans “by accident” when I was at Target getting granola. So.
Anyway, I’m not trying to convince anyone to buy Hermes loafers. My influencing days are over. If you think it’s stupid to spend $1k on shoes, you’re probably right. I’m just celebrating that I thoughtfully acquired a thing I really love, and that the thing makes my granola jeans look super chic.
