I ordered this top online and when it came in I was a little on the fence – was it too much? Too girly? Like a Polly Pocket wrapped in a My Little Pony on top of an American Girl doll inside a box of tampons? I wasn’t sure but I decided to keep it anyway, and I actually got a lot of compliments! I think next time I’ll try to butch it up a little bit. It would look good with jeans and a leather jacket, don’t you think? Like a Barbie and a GI Joe in a unisex bathroom.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Sundays are my favorite night for dates. It’s a great way to close out the weekend, the restaurants aren’t as crowded, and it’s more relaxed. Sunday date nights are even better in the spring and summer because you can end them with a nice stroll (and a photo shoot…totally normal). Of course, the stroll is more comfortable if you’ve planned your footwear accordingly. Luckily, I had just gone to Target to get toilet paper, which meant I came home with gingham sneakers.
