20121003-195041.jpgI sent Kristin a picture of this sweater from the dressing room to see what she thought. She said it was “a hip Cosby sweater” and gave me the thumbs up to purchase. And Kristin was not the only person to give me a figurative thumbs up on one or more elements of this outfit. I got compliments from my friends, from other kids in class, and even from a complete stranger at Trader Joe’s.

I don’t mean to sound conceited, but I feel like I look pretty good every day. Well, at least the days I make an effort and leave my apartment. I didn’t really think this outfit was any more fantastic than the outfit I wore yesterday, or the day before that. But for whatever reason, this one was a hit! Oh well, I won’t complain. Instead I shall celebrate like Bill Cosby and have some pudding. What’s that? We don’t have any pudding? OK, Trader Joe’s coffee ice cream it is.

Why am I posing so awkwardly in the first photo? Let’s forget about it and move on…

Stop staring at my crotch, OK?

Despite these somewhat awkward photos, I really like this outfit. I wore it for my Saturday morning class. I realized a couple months ago that I have almost no real green clothing. Mint green, yes. But real green – like the color of trees and stuff – no. I consider myself an equal opportunity color wearer, so I’m not sure how I overlooked poor little old green.

So I made it a goal for the fall to find something green, and since I’m loving colored denim recently, I figured why not green jeans?! Ta da!
