As I mentioned Monday, I spent most of last weekend in my PJs doing homework. I did get a chance to venture out (had to make an exception for a friend visiting Indy) and this is what I wore. I was excited to get out of the house, but equally if not more excited to have an excuse to put together my first outfit in 3 days. Does that make me weird? Probably. Do I care? No. This cute Peter Pan collar top came in the mail last week and it wanted to go for a spin.

On another note, apparently I need to remind my landlord to mow the grass to a height that is more appropriate for showing off my boots. How inconsiderate.

A more accurate name for this post would be “WEAR ALL OF THE FALL COLORS!!!!” Navy blue? Check. Olive green…mustard…and burgundy? Checkity check check. The nice thing about fall colors is that they’re darker and (mostly) more subdued so you can wear a mix of them together. Spring/summer colors don’t always work that way. Hot pink, mint green, neon yellow, and powder blue in one outfit? Generally not appropriate unless you’re a piñata. So three cheers for seasons that let me wear a bunch of colors together without looking like an insane person!
