I knew going in to September that I would need to be more careful with this month’s shopping budget. As you may have gleaned, I don’t have a job yet. I like to think I’m handling the uncertainty pretty well – I know everything will work out eventually, but it would be nice to know HOW and WHEN. Normally I allow myself to spend any money I make through my blog on clothes, but this month my goal is to save it and use it for “real” thing. Like “bills.”

So what did your favorite blonde unemployed Hoosier lawyer, blogger, and self-proclaimed shopaholic do to quench her shameful need to have new crap all the time? She…I mean I…finally signed up for Le Tote! If you’re not familiar, I’ll give you the short version: It’s like Netflix for clothes. No, you can’t log in through your Wii and stream clothes into your closet (although that would be AMAZING…like Star Trek meets Clueless). I mean the old-school Netflix where you had DVDs shipped to you and you could keep them as long as you wanted and switch them out an unlimited number of times. That’s what you do with Le Tote – add a bunch of stuff you like to your “closet,” pay $50 a month (I paid $25 for this month because I ordered during a Labor Day promo), and receive 5 things at a time. Keep ’em for a while, or wear them and send them right back for more! You don’t have to wash them…that would be a dealbreaker, ladies.

The best slash most dangerous part is that you can purchase stuff you really like. I absolutely love this top I got in my first tote, but I’m going to be a good girl and send it back. (But I already added it back to my Le Tote “closet” so I can get it again one day!)

This isn’t a sponsored post or anything, but I thought some of you might be interested in Le Tote and maybe hadn’t heard of it yet. Well, now you have. If you do decide to try out Le Tote, I would greatly appreciate it if you sign up via my referral link so I can get a free month of service! (You’ll then be able to refer your own friends for a credit, too. It’s not some fancy blogger perk.)

Ah, l’amour. They say it’s all you need. Except during finals week. During finals week you mainly need coffee and motivation. In that order.

This outfit was what I wore for one of my out-of-the-house study sessions. In case you’re keeping track, 2 down, 2 to go! The finish line is in sight.
