Ah, l’amour. They say it’s all you need. Except during finals week. During finals week you mainly need coffee and motivation. In that order.

This outfit was what I wore for one of my out-of-the-house study sessions. In case you’re keeping track, 2 down, 2 to go! The finish line is in sight.

I’m glad everybody liked my midi skirt yesterday! You were probably hoping I would remix it for day 4 of Take One, Pass it On…sorry to disappoint, but I went with the shoes instead. Don’t worry; I promise you’ll see the skirt again soon!

But I would like to point out that I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone 2 outfits in a row: first the midi skirt, and now a baseball cap. I’ve probably worn a baseball cap sometime in my life but I couldn’t tell you when. Let’s just say that in the Spice Girls version of my life (which I think about often), I would never be Sporty.

I don’t know why, but I was a little nervous about wearing this hat all day at school. Maybe it’s because I don’t wear hats very often. I had to keep reminding myself that people wear baseball caps inside all the time. For some reason my head just felt so conspicuous. One person told me they liked my hat, but other than that, no one said anything. That could mean one of two things: (1) There was absolutely nothing strange about my wearing the hat, or (2) I looked so weird in the hat that everyone was afraid to comment on it. Like maybe they assumed I had a giant zit on my forehead or I accidentally shaved the top of my head so they didn’t want to ask me about the hat for fear of making me tell the embarrassing story.

Am I overthinking this? Most likely. Take to the comments and tell me the truth – am I pulling off the hat?!
