Have you guys been to Target lately? If you have, you’ve probably noticed all the cute new fall clothes, and you’ve probably noticed those cute new fall clothes are branded with possibly the weirdest logo ever. (See for yourself.) I have an advanced degree, and I still spent a solid 30 seconds going “and…ea…wy?” I mean, it’s not just me, right? It’s bad. And how many people in Target’s marketing department had to look at this and say “Yes, this is definitely the best way to display the words ‘a new day.’ Everyone will love it”? I just don’t get it.

But you know what I do get? Cute sweaters. And Target is definitely still good at that!

Nothing special to report today. This is just another outfit I wore to work recently. Oh, speaking of “WORK!” did I mention I’m going to see Hamilton on Broadway? No? Well then I guess I do have something pretty effing special to report today!

We lucked out finding tickets the old fashioned way (Ticketmaster), toyed with the idea of selling them for a profit, but finally decided the opportunity was too awesome to pass up. Jetting off to NYC just to see a Broadway show probably isn’t the most financially responsible option, but life is too short to be responsible all the time. Plus…and you knew this was coming…we are not throwing away our shot!

If I weren’t trying to conserve funds for my upcoming trip (hey, that’s a little financially responsible), I might be taking advantage of more of these Thanksgiving sales! Shopbop’s* tiered sale (spend more, save more) is going on now through the whole week (details here). I suppose you could get gifts (how cool are these gold patterned champagne flutes?!) but something for yourself would be perfectly acceptable if you ask me!
