Blog Makeover

Notice anything different? Yes, I have been working out, but that’s not what I’m talking about.

After more than 2 years of blogging, I have finally moved my blog from amateur status to self-hosted! In non-technical speak, I have moved from sarahsreallife.wordpress.com to www.sarahsreallife.com. Yup. Look up at your address bar. I redirected you automatically. BLACK MAGIC, I tell you.

Owning my domain name does cost more (more than the $0 I was paying before), but it also gives me more options and control. Plus it’s just really badass and makes me look fancy. As long as I was upgrading, I figured I would give Sarah’s Real Life a makeover. I’m loving the new look so far, but if you notice anything not working correctly, please let me know!

While I have your attention:

If you have my old page bookmarked, please update that now! I can’t redirect you forever. You gotta do your part.

You guys are the best. Thanks for sticking with me all this time. I hope I’m finally living up to your expectations!

Pumpkins, Leaves, etc.

Hello, and let me be the first person to wish you a happy October! If anyone else already wished you a happy October, please forget you ever knew them.

I’m not sure if I’ll be dressing up for Halloween this year. If I don’t, maybe I should just put this outfit back on. It has a certain fall festive-ness, doesn’t it? Pumpkin on the top, inmate on the bottom. Actually, this could be an Orange is the New Black-inspired costume. OK, looks like I am dressing up for Halloween this year!

When it’s not Halloween, this outfit also makes a great ensemble for going to a dinner party. In my experience, anyway.
