I’m doing a bonus Saturday outfit post as a pretext for plugging the next Macy’s fashion event (as long as I’m upfront about it, right?!) If you’re like me, you’re not worn out from Fashion Week, because you didn’t go to Fashion Week. So getting a teeny tiny dose of “Fashion’s Front Row” is totally doable and maybe even fun. You might remember that I hosted a fashion show for Macy’s earlier this year, but don’t worry…Macy’s stepped it up this time and got an actual big-name blogger: Courtney Kerr of What Courtney Wore. She’s going to host a runway show to tell us all what’s cool for fall. Maybe it’s cotton blazers and suede loafers (fingers crossed).

I don’t know if paisley + fringe + turquoise = any kind of style (Southwestern boho??) but this week it was my style, at least for a day. It started with my new fringe ankle boots, which I thought would look cute with a dress. I hadn’t worn this paisley dress in a minute, so that’s what I picked. The sleeves aren’t a good length for bracelets, so I picked up the turquoise in the dress with this ring set. The bag doesn’t “match” color-wise (that’s why I like it), but the fringe ties echo the fringe in the boots. And there you have it. That’s how this outfit came together: from the bottom up.
