I love a good red and tan plaid blanket scarf as much as the next blogger, but this pastel plaid one might be my new favorite. For one thing, it is so soft. Like a chinchilla and a cumulus cloud had a love child in the form of a scarf (don’t question the science of it). I also dig the color scheme because I think it’ll be great in late March when I feel like wearing springy colors but it’s still freezing. There is also no proof that this scarf doesn’t cure cancer. Basically, I’m a fan.

My rain boots don’t make it to the blog very often because when I wear them it tends to be – get this – raining. And when it’s raining I usually don’t take pictures because when you take a non-waterproof camera out in the rain it tends to not end well. But this particular rain boot outfit was pretty cute, so I recreated it on a drier day. A couple months ago some woman sent me a message through my Facebook page asking how I liked my Hunter boots. It was kind of strange because, again, I hadn’t featured these boots on my blog in months. I sent a quick reply because I like to be nice sometimes just to see what all the fuss is about. Then the conversation took a freaky turn. And I do mean freaky. I know plenty of people have, you know, unique interests, but rubber rain boots? I don’t get it.

Anyway, if you’re getting a little extra enjoyment from these photos, I guess I can’t do anything about that, but maybe keep it to yourself? If you’re getting the normal amount of enjoyment from these photos, the kind you could talk to your grandmother about, then feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
