I asked Kristin if the new camera is what’s making me look so cool in these photos, or if I really look this cool all the time in real life. She said it was the camera. So then I asked her again: Do I look this cool all the time in real life? And she said yes. This is the #1 thing I learned in law school: just keep trying until you get the answer you want.

What do you do when it feels like springtime but it’s still February? You wear a yellow dress with a turtleneck, of course. This turtleneck is actually perfect for layering. I have it in 2 colors, and I’ve layered them both under sleeveless dresses multiple times this winter. I have way too many cute dresses that I can’t bear to give up for 3-4 months. Jackets and cardigans work sometimes, but I’ve found that with flared dresses like this one, I end up looking like a walking rectangle if the outer layer hits below my waist (which it usually does). No offense to rectangles or anything; I just don’t want to be one.
