I’m starting to wonder if I have an abnormally large number of red dresses for a woman outside the sex worker industry. But the thing is…red dresses don’t have to be slutty. They can actually be really modest, but still be fun and sassy just because they’re red. Maybe that’s why I’m such a fan. And why I bought yet another one from Boden recently. Look, it even has pockets, which are perfect for storing spare red dresses.

This is the one time of the year when I somewhat resemble a crazy sports fan. Generally, my feelings toward sports range somewhere between disdain and ambivalence. But come college basketball season, I love rooting on my Tar Heels and my Hoosiers. I don’t make a point to watch every game all season, but in March it’s time to get serious.

Last Thursday when Indiana played Kentucky, I watched from home while lifting weights in my living room because I promised myself I would get some kind of workout in. It was basically the most butch thing I’ve ever done. Then I went and changed the oil in my car. OK, no, that didn’t happen, but the next day something possessed me to wear sneakers to work. Who am I?! Usually my version of sporty is singing along to Sporty Spice’s part in Wannabe. Before you know it, I’ll be one of those people who paints her face red. Well, maybe just my lips.

For those of you who are actually good at following sports, you probably know that my two favorite teams are playing each other this week! Eeek! In case you’re wondering, IU gets my undying love. 🙂
