I decided there were enough other bloggers pushing the Nordstrom Anniversary sale the past couple weeks that you would be more than happy for me to skip it. (Was I right? I knew it.) I did, however, partake in the Shopaholic’s Christmas and bought myself this Ted Baker watch. It put me over my shopping budget for the month, but I’m going to call it an early birthday present to myself.

I don’t usually wear watches with big faces because my wrists are so small, but I made an exception for this one because the face of the watch is the most beautiful part, so why not make it take up my whole arm? I also really enjoy saying “What time is it? FLOWER TIME!” as I brandish the watch triumphantly, which will definitely never get annoying.

I’m a big fan of pink and olive together. I think it’s because one is traditionally girly and the other’s traditionally more masculine. I wouldn’t really describe my style as androgynous, unless a pink dress with and olive green vest counts as androgynous. And I don’t think it does. But it does count as girly badass, which is how I would describe my style.

I’ve been shopping more than usual recently, but I’m trying to keep my title of remixing queen, so I’m making more effort to mix my newest purchases (like these Kendra Scott earrings) with last month’s purchases (like the dress) and things I’ve had for a year or more (like these cap-toe pumps). I’m actually toying with the idea of bringing back the Take One Pass It On challenge for August (read about that here), so pencil that in if you’re a blogger who likes challenges and linkups!
