Spring is a great time to stock up on those classic closet basics that you’ll love for years to come. Or you could say “screw it all” and buy an adorable pink saddlebag or some floral pumps. Today I’m happy (she says with an evil grin) to share a fun collection of spring statement makers now on extra major sale at Neiman Marcus LastCall! In case you’re not familiar, LastCall is sort of an outlet store for NM, so they have a huge collection of clothes, shoes, and accessories from a wide range of designers (some you’ve heard of and others you probably haven’t). There are goodies at every price point, but everything I picked out here is under $150.

LastCall’s Easter sale is ending today – 35% off! But if you’re still in a jelly bean stupor, never fear. Monday-Tuesday (3/28-3/29), you can get an additional 25% off sitewide.

On top of all that, if you sign up with ShopAtHome.com, you can get 8% cash back on your purchase (and cash back on all kinds of other retailers, too). All the links above will take you through ShopAtHome so you can earn, but you can still click through to the products like normal if you don’t want to sign up – no worries!

And happy shopping – buy something fun, why dontcha? 😉

Designer Duds

This is a sponsored post in conjunction with Neiman Marcus and ShopAtHome.com, but the opinions are all mine!

Neiman Marcus designer favorites

I know you see a lot more Loft than Lanvin on this blog, but today I’m going to talk for a second about designer duds. In college I used to judge those girls who all had to have a Tiffany bracelet and a Coach bag. OK, I still kinda judge those girls. You should never dip into your savings or drive up your credit card balance just to have some trendy “it” bag that you won’t like in 2 years. But in my advanced age, I’ve developed an appreciation for the finer things in life. Turns out…there are actually some decent reasons to lust after (and sometimes buy) the fancy stuff.

When your significant other gets you a bottle of designer perfume, you gotta admit: it makes you feel special, right? And it looks pretty sitting on your dresser, too. Or when you get a promotion and treat yourself to a beautiful leather bag, it’s something to be proud of, and you’ll probably use it for a long time (because you’re smart and you got something classic). Finally, if you love a designer because they match your aesthetic and you can always count on them for high quality, there’s no shame in telling Santa “Bring me literally anything from Kate Spade.” You know, for example.

If you’re looking to give, receive, or buy yourself any designer goods, this week is a good time to do it at Neiman Marcus. Because no one hates saving money, even fancy people. Check out these sweet deals:

On top of all that, if you sign up with ShopAtHome.com, you can get 8% cash back on your purchase (and cash back on all kinds of other retailers, too). All the links above will take you through ShopAtHome so you can earn, but you should still be able to click through to the sales like normal even if you don’t register. In case that’s too complicated, here’s an old fashioned non-affiliate link for ya: http://www.neimanmarcus.com.

All the items pictured above are currently available at Neiman Marcus, and many even qualify for one of the special deals! These are some of my personal favorite designers (starting top left): Kendra Scott, Kate Spade, Ray Ban, Tory Burch, Dolce & Gabbana, YSL, and Rebecca Minkoff. Happy shopping (responsibly, of course)!
