As I strutted down the hall at work in this outfit, my breezy kimono flowing behind me, one of my coworkers stopped me to tell me how amazing I looked and how she could never pull off something like this.

You guys, let me tell you a little secret. Half the time, I don’t know if I’m “pulling it off.” I second, third, and fourth guessed myself with this outfit. Was it too…”fashiony” for my office? Did it look like I was wearing a bathrobe from the back? I resolved these insecure thoughts by putting on some heels and lipstick and deciding I looked awesome. Shoulders back, chin up, determined stride.

And that’s how you “pull it off.”

These flats have now earned the title Most Comfortable Shoes in My Closet. Do you ever try on shoes at the end of a long day of wearing uncomfortable heels and you find that every shoe you try on seems super comfy by comparison? Well I was already wearing really comfortable shoes when I tried these on, and they still felt like I was walking on clouds.

As you might have noticed, comfort is not really a necessity for me when it comes to shoes. I spend most of my day sitting at a desk, so I’m more of a form over function gal. But I do indeed walk sometimes, and my feet want a break once in a while. If I were a big fat liar, I would change into more fabulous shoes for blog photos so I could look more like the supermodel I feel that I am on the inside. As I am neither big nor fat nor a liar (usually), I’m just going to show you the flats that I did in fact wear for casual Friday. Did I mention they’re the comfiest? Because they totally are.

On another note, my fellow Indianapolis style blogger Katie and I seem to have a knack for wearing the same thing (because we’re both awesome). Here’s proof.
