Well this might be a first for me: an outfit inspired by a book! OK, so I don’t remember for sure what book it was, but it was definitely historical fiction, so probably The Winemaker’s Wife or The Alice Network. Anyway, a character was described as wearing a red dress or skirt, a white shirt tied at the waist, and red shoes. And I thought to myself, “that sounds like something I would wear!”
So I did.
