I’m very much against an early morning flight at the end of a vacation. That’s just no way to live. Our flight out of SFO was at 2pm. It’s about an hour drive from Napa, and we had to leave extra time to drop off the rental car. So there were 2 options: One was to be extremely cautious and responsible — have a leisurely breakfast and then head to the airport. And the other was to be slightly less cautious but still preeeettty responsible — hit up one more winery before leaving town.

Guess which one we chose? 😉

After we said a tearful goodbye to our incredibly comfy bed at the Airbnb, we got coffee and pastries at Oxbow Public Market. Then, in an effort to not ignore all that neighboring Sonoma County has to offer, we hit up Gloria Ferrer for our final glasses of sparkling wine. At 10am. 🙂

And finally – finally – the sun came out! It was a little annoying since we were about to leave, but it was mostly glorious. The hills of Sonoma are so gorgeous, I just want to cuddle them. Au revoir, wine country! Until we meet again!
