If you’re new to apple picking, here’s what you need to know:

The most important thing – and I cannot stress this enough – is to wear a cute hat and scarf. If you don’t wear your new fall outfit and post a cliche Instagram pic of it, you might as well not even go apple picking. The process of picking your outfit should take longer than the process of picking apples.

Second, after you and your friends fill two giant bags with apples, go buy baking supplies and wine, and then bake stuff using 5% of the apples you picked, while drinking 100% of the wine.

Now if that’s not a fall day well spent, I don’t know what is.
