When: Saturday // Weather: 80s and sunny // Real life: farmers’ market, lots o’ errands, and Symphony on the Prairie
My Saturday was pretty jam-packed. It started early at the farmers’ market and ended late with Symphony on the Prairie. In between, we were running all kinds of errands getting ready for a party we’re hosting next weekend. (And yes, fine, I stopped by Nordstrom for early access to the Anniversary Sale…I’m only a human blogger!)
One thing I really like about summers in Indiana (compared to North Carolina, where I grew up) is that in the morning and overnight, the temperatures actually go down. It can even get chilly. And by chilly, I mean the temperature of an average Florida winter, so, you know, pleasant.
Not to toot my own horn, but this outfit was pretty much perfect for my long day. I take that back – it’s my blog so I’ma toot away. My jacket kept me comfy in the A/C and after sundown, but in the heat of the day, it was sun’s out guns out! By the way, this swing tank is crazy soft. Like I’m not sure you understand how soft it is. I feel like I should talk really quietly about it because it’s so soft. Oh, and it’s $17. Plus its swing shape is great for SWINGS in temperature. See what I did there?
