I’m usually not a fan of platform shoes, but for whatever reason I couldn’t get these out of my head once I saw them. I stalked them until they went on sale and then made them mine (they’re still on sale, btw). When I wore them yesterday, I thought of the scene in Clueless when Josh is teaching Cher to drive and he says “Hey, James Bond, in America we drive on the right side of the road,” and Cher says, “I am! You try driving in platforms!” I generally compare everything in life to a scene/line from Clueless, but today’s connection was particularly spot-on. I kind of think a 2016 Cher would wear this whole outfit, actually. Now all I need is the rotating closet (but my dressing room isn’t too shabby in the meantime).

Ha yes this is very Cher! I really like the shoes with the cropped ankle trousers. I had flats on with crops last week and my Dad asked if my shoes had an argument with the hems. Made me chuckle 🙂
