Last Sunday, I went to brunch (shocking, I know) at Traders Point Creamery, which is a dairy farm on the outskirts of the city. The food was amazeballs, but it had some heavy competition with the scenery. We took the self-guided hike around the farm to work off our mimosas and eggs and take in all the sunshine and fall colors. I use the term “hike” loosely to mean any walk more than 1 mile that does not take place on asphalt. (Seriously though, it was beautiful. Nature is cool.)

I planned ahead for the hike by wearing weather-appropriate layers, a hat, and my butch-est shoes. If this outfit doesn’t scream All-American Farm Girl, then I don’t know what does.
