Here’s some exciting quasi-news: we’re considering buying our first house! I mean it’s not set in stone (or wood or brick), but we’ve taken actual concrete (building material pun intended) steps in that direction and it feels so…ADULT. I’ve been performing “adult” tasks like doing my own laundry and paying bills since I was 18. But now I’m doing things like meeting with mortgage brokers and real estate agents. That is some hardcore adulting right there.
Question though: Where does having two glasses of wine and a huge bowl of guacamole for dinner fall on the adulting scale? Because that’s where I am today.

So, I found out last week that my in-laws are moving to Indy this summer and one of my first thoughts was, “Hey, that means that when I go visit them I might get to meet Sarah and the other Indy style bloggers!”
Is that creepy?

So exciting, Sarah! My husband and I are in the process of buying our first house as well – we’ve gone through all the financing stuff, have a realtor, have looked at houses, and have even put an offer on a house (but it’s bank owned so it’s taking forEVER to hear back – not good for someone with little-to-no patience like me). It’s kind of an overwhelming process, but it’s so very exciting as well! Good luck in your search!!
