So I was heating up my lunch at school earlier this week and a girl I didn’t know walked up and asked, “Are you Sarah?” Turns out she’s a first-year student who got paired up with me for some help studying. How did she know who I was? “They told me you wear a lot of hats.”
Really? When did I become Hat Girl? I mean I don’t wear hats that often, do I?

He he he. I wish I was known as the hat girl, but I feel a bit dorky in them sometimes. It really would help my skin in the summer!
I felt dorky at first too, but you just have to ease into it! A new season is a good time to start. You’re in Australia, right? So is it almost fall? Maybe you should look for a textured baseball cap like this one or a floppy felt hat. You could start by wearing it just outside, because hats always seem less weird outside.
I’m in South Africa. You are right I wear hats outside like when I walk the dogs or when I’ll be in the sun for a long time. I am dying for a floppy felt hat. My winter hats consist of 3 different page boy hats that got a lot of use when I lived in Scotland. I think I need to see hats as accessories rather than something practicle.
