It’s been brought to my attention that a lot of “sustainable” fashion brands don’t offer plus sizes. To be perfectly honest I don’t always think about this issue because I’m roughly the height and weight of the average pre-pubescent 14-year-old boy. But just because a problem doesn’t affect me personally doesn’t mean it’s not a problem. As consumers, we need to keep the pressure on our favorite brands to offer more sizes and not just cater to skinny bitches like me – tag them on social media and give them some constructive criticism!

But in the meantime, I did recently learn about a size-inclusive and sustainable/ethical brand, Wray NYC. Fair warning: if you’re like me, you will drool on your computer over the beautiful fabrics. Granted they’re not cheap, but you might be surprised what you can afford when you stop buying tons of fast fashion every month (I’m looking in the mirror as I say this). I ordered this dress in a recent sale and it’s gorgeous! Wray NYC generally carries every style in sizes XXS to 6XL, so none of that nonsense where only certain styles come in “plus size.”

This isn’t a sponsored post, but Wray if you’re listening, I would gladly take more dresses off your hands. 🙂

It finally happened. For years, I’ve tried to see all the Oscar nominees for best picture, and I’ve gotten close but never achieved it until this year. The Academy Award for achievement in sitting on my ass and watching artsy movies goes to: ME.

In case you’re wondering, my favorites were Nomadland, The Father, and Sound of Metal! Now, let me get back to watching the awards (it’s my version of Super Bowl Sunday).
