There were several outfits I wore on my work trip that I didn’t get to take pictures of, but I liked this one so much that I reenacted it back at home. Most days during my stay in glamorous Orlando started with educational sessions at the convention center, but ended with dancing sessions at various bars. Any day that I get to wear two outfits is a fun day in my book. 😉 To keep my suitcase on the lighter side though, I wore a dress pretty much every day and swapped out a layer on top and some accessories…Remember this 2-for-1 outfit? Yeah, like that.
On this particular day, I started out with a button-up shirt tied over the top of this dress and went for minimal accessories (proof on Instagram). For the evening (which concluded with an impromptu limbo session with some U.K. trademark professionals at Howl at the Moon), I made a few minor alterations and here ya go!
This dress makes me feel very 50s in the best possible way. All the sass, none of the homemaking. It’s on sale, by the way, and excellent for limbo-ing.

You look so charming! I like how you used minimal accessories and love the pop of color with the earrings.
Thanks, I’m not always good at the whole minimalism thing 😉
You always have the catchiest post titles! Love this polka dot dress–definitely all of the sass without the homemaking. Ha!
