If you’re a regular reader, you’re really cool, and you probably know we started house hunting last month. If you follow me on Instagram, you’re even cooler, and you probably know that we found a place! We haven’t closed yet, but everything’s on track so far for early June. As you can imagine, there are a million things on my mind right now – like money, contracts, packing, moving, cleaning, fixing, and gouging out my own eyeballs. What’s keeping me sane? The excitement of the fact that soon I’ll get to paint and decorate and make my own home totally fabulous.
There are bigger items like furniture at the top of the shopping list right now, but it’s still fun to think ahead to the little things that will make each room unique. Like why just drop your keys on the table when you can drop them in a gold elephant bowl? And why are none of my plates striped or polka dotted? These are important questions we should all ask ourselves.
