I went to a baseball game two weeks in a row in June. I’m basically a professional athlete (watcher) now. It was great though, because I actually paid attention the first week, and then used what I learned to improve my experience the second week.

For example, the first week (when I wore this BTW), I learned the tater tots are good, but the soft pretzels are even better. So this time I got the pretzel. See? I know so much about sports now.

Now that my other half works basically across the street from me, we meet for afternoon Starbucks dates a couple times a week. Adorable, right? Yeah, we know. I have a feeling the outdoor dates will be less frequent come January, but right now, they’re a great excuse to get out and soak up some Vitamin D. The key is to cut them short before I get sunburned. Believe me – it doesn’t take long. It takes about the same amount of time it takes to wait in line and order an iced latte. Where my pale ladies at?! You know what’s up.

In other news, just continuing my journey of becoming the world’s foremost collector of striped clothing. You’ll probably see me on TV one day. Hopefully not on Hoarders.
