I remember being cold when we took these photos. I probably complained about it and did a little shivering. I would like to take all that back now. Because now…NOW, it’s actually cold. The kind of cold where I could literally lose a finger or twelve if I stayed outside long enough to take photos of my outfit. So let’s just look back fondly on this semi-casual Friday from a couple weeks ago, when life was positively tropical.

2015. It’s So Hot Right Now.

Well, here it is: my New Years Eve outfit! Yeah, I know that was a few days ago, but I wanted to make sure this 2015 thing stuck before I jinxed it. Like maybe that Y2K thing got delayed for a decade and half. You can never be too careful. But I think we’re safe.

I went to a house party with about a zillion of Kristin’s theater friends. My outfit was a hit with the gays. Compliments included:

“This sweater is the most PERFECT thing happening in this room right now.”

“THIS [gestures up and down my body] …is EVERYTHING.”

A couple people were even keen enough to notice my sparkly ball ring. I tried to get people to watch it drop, but apparently it wasn’t as exciting as the real thing. Maybe I’ll try a bigger ring for 2016.
