OK, I just looked it up. The song “Buffalo Gals” refers to girls from Buffalo, NY. That’s not as interesting as I was hoping. I thought maybe buffalo gals were women in the wild west who tamed and rode buffaloes and, like, solved crimes and engaged in other general badassery. Nope, just chicks from upstate New York. Boring.

Well I still don’t know where the term “buffalo plaid” comes from and Google didn’t help me fast enough. Whoever can give me the best made-up story explaining the origin of buffalo plaid gets a million meaningless points. Alternatively, you can just compliment me on my mad neutral print-mixing skills. I’m trying to think of something to say about this outfit but I can only come up with a random string of excited words: Yellow! Pretty shoes! Bows! Sparkly things! Basically, I liked this outfit so much that I forgot to how sentences make.

I’m also going to blame my brain fog on the large amount of unhealthy but delicious food I ate today. A Giordano’s Pizza opened this week down the road from me, so I just had some serious deep dish. Also, earlier today I was looking for something in my purse and I found the second half of a s’mores brownie I bought 5 days ago. I’m not ashamed to tell you that I took a bite just to see if it was still good. I’m also not ashamed to tell you that once I confirmed it was still good, I ate the rest of it.

Now that I think of it, I ate the first half of that brownie while wearing this outfit. There you go…I made a complete thought about this outfit. My work here is done.
