My coworker told me I was the only person she knew who could wear this outfit and not look like her grandma.

Compliment: Accepted.

I guess I must have pulled off looking young and fun in this, because I wore it to a networking event after work and multiple men introduced themselves to me. But that could also have been because I forgot to put my wedding ring back on after my shower that morning. So single ladies, take note: Dudes like women who dress like grandmas, apparently. Not sure if that’s cute or creepy, but try it out this weekend and let me know how it goes.

I recently learned that any blogger who doesn’t do a cute fall outfit photo shoot in an apple orchardĀ  will be swiftly stripped of her domain name. Yup. Her Instagram account will be suspended too. In extreme cases, she will not be served PSLs at any Starbucks location. I just can’t take that risk, you guys. I love my square pictures and pumpkin spice.

OK, so it might have been all the other apple-picking bloggers that planted (pun intended) the idea in my head, but it is something that sounded like fun, and there happens to be an orchard about half an hour away from me. So last Saturday afternoon we headed to Tuttle Orchards to get our freakin’ fall on. The outfit photo-op was just a bonus.

As it turns out, there aren’t a ton of apples left on the trees this late in the season (in Indiana anyway), but we made out OK. We are not above grabbing a few good ones from the ground to fill up our bag. But note to self: next year, go earlier.
