Not Sweating It

Have you guys heard of these Numi undershirts? I got one a few weeks ago, and I’m a big fan so far. It’s not that classy to talk about, but we all sweat. Let’s just put it out there. We sweat, the sweat goes through our clothes, the clothes get musty and discolored, and we either throw away the musty discolored clothes or we hide them under jackets and carry around our gross sweaty secrets.

I wouldn’t say I sweat much more than the average person, but I have definitely had to part with a lot of white shirts before their time. I was intrigued enough by the Numi ads that I was willing to drop $60 on an undergarment. If you haven’t seen them, they’re these super thin, moisture-wicking shirts that basically have maxi pads built in to the armpits. (Told you, not classy.) And they totally work!

I’ve worn mine about 5 times so far. I don’t wear it everyday, just when I’m wearing a white and/or thin top (I’m wearing it in the outfit above). I was worried the undershirt itself would get really gross and smelly so I’d have to wash it between every wear. But somehow, it doesn’t! It’s pretty magical.

Anyway, this is in no way sponsored by Numi. I just wanted to share this tip with you all so you can extend the life of your favorite clothes. If you think about it, it’s a sustainable step you can take to keep clothes out of landfills.

New thing I’m in to these days: brown.

Old thing I’m still in to as much as ever: stripes.

New thing: retro sunglasses.

Old thing: blonde bobs.

So yeah, you’re pretty much caught up on my fall style evolution. It’s subtle but it’s there.
