You’ve heard of Taco Tuesday, but what about Taco Monday?

It’s similar to Taco Tuesday, but better, because when it comes to tacos (and margaritas), sooner is better, and Monday comes sooner than Tuesday. You can’t argue with that logic.

Just like there’s no bad time for tacos, there’s also no bad time to go shopping and randomly pick up a bright yellow bag on clearance. I called it a birthday present to myself, but that was really just an excuse because I bought it about 2 weeks before my birthday.

So the moral of today’s story is: Life is short. Don’t wait to eat the tacos or buy the bag.

When: Thursday // Weather: warm and sunny // Real life: work, then a dinner date

I can’t decide if I want to be that girl who follows the weather and the official season and sticks with “summer” style for the next couple weeks, or if I want to be that girl who immediately switches into fall mode just because it’s after Labor Day. So I’m going to be both. And you’re going to support me wholeheartedly as always. (Right?) Yesterday it was all of the bright colors and florals, and today it’s solid black and burgundy. Tomorrow – who knows? Maybe a fur vest. OK, no, it’s not going to be a fur vest, because that’s still in a tub in my basement. The point is: you love my unpredictable nature, and you can’t wait to see my next move.
