#LookingLucky 1: Lace

I was throwing together a rainy day look yesterday and I decided to turn to my list of Looking Lucky trends for inspiration. (AHEM. HINT HINT. Do the Looking Lucky style challenge with me so you can get help thinking of what to wear, too.) I decided to go with lace just because I usually think of lace for “fancy” occasions, not rainy days. And that’s what makes style fun, right? Thinking of new and slightly unexpected ways to wear things. That’s my philosophy, anyway. Feel free to disagree with me (but keep it to yourself…this is MY blog, dammit).

I’m happy to report the forecast is quite spring-like here in Indianapolis this week. This outfit is from last week, and I’m hoping it’s the last time you’ll see me in tights for quite awhile.

Today was a busy day so I don’t have time to write as much of my witty banter as usual, but let me take a moment to remind you of the 2 exciting things currently happening in this corner of the Interwebs: First, there’s the $100 H&M giftcard giveaway; you still have a week to enter!
