‘Tis the season! No, not Christmas. Please…it’s barely November. I mean ’tis the season for sweaters and tights. I’m not one for “uniforms,” but there’s a pretty big percentage of the next few months when you’ll see me in a dress, cardigan, tights, and boots. I just keep mixing and matching until I’m out of new combinations, and then I go shopping. It’s a pretty good system, if your definition of “good” is “ridiculous and fiscally irresponsible.”

Now that my other half works basically across the street from me, we meet for afternoon Starbucks dates a couple times a week. Adorable, right? Yeah, we know. I have a feeling the outdoor dates will be less frequent come January, but right now, they’re a great excuse to get out and soak up some Vitamin D. The key is to cut them short before I get sunburned. Believe me – it doesn’t take long. It takes about the same amount of time it takes to wait in line and order an iced latte. Where my pale ladies at?! You know what’s up.

In other news, just continuing my journey of becoming the world’s foremost collector of striped clothing. You’ll probably see me on TV one day. Hopefully not on Hoarders.
