When it’s March/April and you live in a part of the world where the temps aren’t as warm as you’d like, just throw on ridiculous accessories and strut your stuff at Ikea. That’s my best advice.

So I went to see a play the other day. For those that aren’t familiar, a play is like a musical, but for some reason they take out the singing and dancing (it’s still not clear to me why anyone would want to do that). Anyway, I liked it…a lot actually…but I didn’t love it. Really the only thing keeping me from loving it was: audience participation. I just am not a fan of audience participation. Even when I personally don’t have to participate. It’s like, I paid money to see this thing, and half the time I had to watch a bunch of awkward amateurs? I would like a partial refund, please. Plus I just felt stressed thinking about how nervous other people felt when they had to participate. (They did try to hand me a card beforehand with a line I was supposed to say, but I said NOPE. I shall not perform unless I get to join a union first, thankyouverymuch.)
