This was my very first time wearing ankle boots with a maxi dress. I know. Such an exciting life milestone. I really wanted a springy Sunday Funday outfit to wear to brunch and to the new beer garden at the art museum’s greenhouse. But I also knew it wasn’t going to be that warm, plus all my wedges are still in storage. I wasn’t sure how it would look, but I think it’s pretty cute! Flowy with chunky – who knew? Well, the other woman I saw at brunch who was wearing almost this identical outfit. She knew. She will take over my blog starting tomorrow.
Speaking of firsts, you’d think Sunday was my first time being out in the sun, because later that night I discovered I was sunburnt on just the bottom three inches of my forearms. Super sexy.
So what did we learn today? Ankle boots can look good with long skirts, and I am completely inept at life.
