I dare you to think of a day that cannot be made better by wearing polka dots. Imagine you get fired from your dream job. You probably sulk home and stare at yourself in the mirror, see the tears streaming down your face and wonder if you will ever feel happy and fulfilled again. Then you glance down a little and remember you’re wearing a polka dot shirt. Things are looking up already. Update that résumé, girl!

Even if you’re already having an awesome day, polka dots can make it even better. Imagine you win the lottery. Naturally, you take a celebratory selfie. Not only are you a millionaire, you also realize how adorable you look in polka dots! And you decide to buy ALL OF THE POLKA DOT SHIRTS IN THE WORLD.

In case you were wondering, I did not get fired, nor did I win the lottery. This was just your average polka-dot-wearing day. Which is to say that it was great. Have a polka dotted weekend, everyone.

Like I told you yesterday, I went to two brunches last weekend. This was brunch outfit #2. Apparently I like to wear bright colors and show some thigh for my weekend morning meals.

Sunday’s brunch was extra special because I had it with some of my fellow Indianapolis style bloggers. You might think we spent the whole time telling each other how awesome we looked, but we actually got that part over with pretty quickly. (Really it’s not necessary at all…we know how awesome we look all the time, obviously.) Then we moved on to normal girl talk – you know, pillow fights and cute boys and such.

But then we went back to being bloggers and took each others’ outfit photos. You can’t let a good backdrop go to waste, right? Right.
