You guys, sometimes I just feel cute. Is that a weird thing to say? Even if it is, I don’t care. Because I felt cute in this outfit and my sassy high ponytail. I’m not saying I feel ugly every other day, it’s just that I don’t normally have the urge to wink at myself in the mirror. I definitely wanted to wink at myself in the mirror this day, maybe even with a little finger gun action. “How YOU doin’?” That was my Joey Tribbiani impression.

Next time you feel cute, take a picture. Even if you don’t have a blog. Find some nice light, use a real camera, and ask someone you trust (or a tripod) to take some photos of you just being yourself. You don’t have to post them all over the Internet (that’s for narcissists like me), but at least make sure you can find them the next time you’re feeling bloated or sick or depressed or whatever. Then you’ll remember that you’re a relatively attractive, happy person who has her shit together. And you’ll feel better.

Have a cute weekend.

My coworker totally called me out for wearing a sweater in 90-degree weather. But here’s the thing: if I spend 99% of my day in a temperature-controlled building and/or car, does it matter? I mean, why even check the forecast in the morning? Unless the weather man can predict the zombie apocalypse, nothing he says is going to change what I decide to wear on an average weekday. (In case of the zombie apocalypse, I would obviously wear wedges.)

What say you – dress for the indoor weather or the outdoor weather?
