You know that kids’ book that goes something like “if you give a mouse a cookie, he’s going to want some some milk”? I wrote my own version: “If you give Sarah red shoes, she’s going to want red lipstick.” I don’t know what it is, but as soon as I put on some sassy crimson pumps, I just want to go that extra step and add matching lips. In other words, if it’s a red shoe day, WATCH OUT. Coincidentally, I also often eat a cookie when I wear red shoes and/or lipstick.
But that’s probably just because I eat a cookie nearly every day. Anyway, the details aren’t important. The point is: look at my awesome new shoes.
