I don’t know if it’s the self-isolation or just the wisdom of my 30s, but lately I’ve stopped caring so much about whether my clothes are “flattering.” What does that even mean and why should it be that important? I got this blouse in Paris and I’ve barely worn it because every time I put it on, I think it makes me look slightly pregnant and I end up changing.

So what? Pregnant people are a level of badass I will never achieve (by choice), so why would I be afraid to look like them? (But if you ask my how far along I am, I will give you my best death stare.) This blouse is cute, it reminds me of my vacation en France, I like it, and I shall wear it.

After working from home for 2 months (or 5 days or 7 years, not sure), I had an epiphany. All that time, I was getting up in the morning, forcing myself to change out of my PJs, and reaching for my most comfortable pant options.

How could I have neglected to realize that a long dress is basically a nightgown?! But for the day. A daygown. With the warmer weather finally here, I’ve opened up a whole new world of WFH outfit options. It doesn’t take much to excite me these days.
