At the risk of sounding like every other fashion blogger who talks about “transitional” wear this time of year, I have to say… I’m pretty proud of this transitional wear. THERE. I said it. Bringing in the cranberry and plumb colors but still rocking the espadrille wedges? I’m giving myself a big ol’ September pat on the back for this one.

My very reliable app where cats give me the weather report says that it’s still going to be in the 80s in Indianapolis for the foreseeable future, so I’ll have to channel these mad transitional wear skills when I go back to work next week. This might be my only good idea, though. Time will tell.

After 2 very fun weekend outfits in a row (1 & 2), here’s a deceivingly plain and simple workday outfit. It’s all like, “oh hey, I’m just a plain white tee and black pants and basic pumps BUT OH  WAIT THERE’S FLOWERS ON MY HEELS. BAM!”

You know, if clothes could talk. I like to think mine do, and they always seem to have interesting things to say. Clothes are like my imaginary friends, but in the least creepy and sad way possible. (Fun/weird fact: As a kid, my imaginary friends were named Winnie and Arbara. Yeah, like Barbara without the “B” and Winnie the Pooh without the “the Pooh.” I have no idea where I came up with them.)
