This might be the most low-key outfit I’ve worn in a long time. There’s something about fashion/style blogging that makes you want to try something daring every day, even if you’re not doing it consciously. At least that’s what I’ve discovered over the past 8 or so months.

I’m actually kind of glad this outfit happened, because it reminded me I do still love simple, classic, and comfortable dressing. (I also love ranch dressing.) Statement necklaces and print mixing are not required on a daily basis. Calm down, Sarah. Keep it real.

I’m taking a quick break from showing you my own outfits to show you what Kristin wore last weekend. Adorable, amiright ladies?

Most people would say I’m the stylish one in this relationship, but let’s be honest…a bow tie is probably not a look I could pull off. People would think I had taken a catering job on the side.

Kristin also wanted to make sure everyone knows that this is a real bow tie, not one of those clip-on cheater bow ties. She learned how to tie it herself in less than 5 minutes by watching a YouTube video. So if your boyfriend or husband can’t tie his own bow tie, tell him to get it together…even chicks can do this.
